Amazing WWII German Iron Cross, First Class : C.F. Zimmermann, Pforzheim "L/52" (1939). The hinge is a block/barrel type, soldered on its end directly to the backplate. The pin is distinctly shaped. It barely narrows at all from where it's attached to the hinge pin to its end. "L/52" stamped on the underside of the pin, you can find in "The Iron Cross 1. Class" Pag. 257. Very good condition.
